i bought my nokia 5800xm on 5 jan 09!!! it was not having any problem but from past one week it started showing some stripes, and i have to slide the screen lock for 10 to 15 times then if i'm lucky it will come to normal screen else no way i have to restart it!!!!! i updated the new firmware a month ago(v21) i visited the nokia care but it is not helping me is it a hardware problem or software problem i don't know!!!!! i have reset my phone for over ten times but still it is not helping me!!!! but there is a temporary way of getting through this........is.by using the following application[/b]
a flashlight application for Nokia 5800. It keeps the backlight on as long as the application is running. It features slider controls for adjusting the amount of red, green and blue in the screen color. In total there are 16.777.216 possible screen colors.
if u keep the application running then the stripes wouldn't come up!!!!!
